OUR BEGINNING

Apostles Brenda & Dwight Pratt after more than Twenty-Five years of preparation and serving in various ministries throughout New Providence birthed Global Worship Center on September 6th, 2009. It was in August of 2009 that they were released by Apostles Ed & Lee Watson of Trinity City of Praise after meeting and sharing what Pastor Brenda felt the Lord had laid on her heart to do, which was to start a new work in the western district of New Providence. With the support and agreement of her husband Min. Dwight,  prayer sessions were held on Tuesday  nights during the month of August 2009  at their office. It was at this time that the vision was shared and prayed over by those who attended, of which the majority were  family members and a covenant sister who believed that the Lord had assigned her to this work. Embarking on this new journey was 12 individuals of which included  seven adults (Pastor Brenda, Min. Dwight, Bishop David Pratt, Elder Victoria Pratt, Lisa Pratt, Tonya Gibson, and  A. Shanria Adderley) and five children (Brittaney Pratt, Micah Pratt, Simon Mott, Antonio Gibson and Zachery Gibson). The first Sunday morning service was held on September 6th, 2009 at Harvest Retreat Center in West Ridge Estates, for the Lord had graciously provided this place for the ministry to worship. The Vision was to Transform Lives thru the Word, Worship and Greater Works and it was evident that a strong training and equipping mandate was upon the ministry and with this being demonstrated the ministry grew and impacted and influence many lives.

Global Worship Center will Transform Individuals, Communities, Cities and Nations thru the Preaching and Teaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, the Cultivation of a Lifestyle of Worship and the Demonstration of Greater Works as declared by Jesus Christ the King of the Kingdom.

MISSION

To Identify, Train, Equip, Empower and Send forth Apostolic and Prophetic Kingdom Citizens in order to make disciples and to become a Global Voice that will Influence, Impact and Transform this Generation and Generations beyond.
